Lee Yan Goh
Lee Yan Goh studied Commercial Art at the Perak Institute of Art in Malaysia and began her career as a graphic designer with Ogilvy and several advertising companies. In 2017, she returned to her true passion—watercolour painting.
Her works are primarily in a realistic style, with cats as her central subject, reflecting her lifelong love for them. She also paints dogs, birds, and people. Lee Yan believes that meaningful art is not only about technical mastery but also about passion that can inspire, move, and connect with others. Her artistic mission is to raise awareness of stray animals and to shift public perception through her work.
Since resuming her artistic journey, Lee Yan’s paintings have been showcased in international exhibitions and honoured with awards, including:
● Honourable Mention Award, Step by Step Watercolor Festival, Poland (2024)
● 2nd Place Winner, Golden Turtle Wildlife International Art Contest (2022)
● Special Appreciation Award, IWS Argentina (2021)
● Top 20 Mention Award, Watercolor Festival & Golden Brush Contest, Izmir (2020)
Her works continue to carry both artistic passion and a message of compassion, bridging art and advocacy across cultures.
